Roseville's In-kind Donations, and Pounds of Local Support
The Gist: The community really showed up this year. Neighbors donated more than 13,000 pounds of non-perishable food during the water-wise food drive. Donations supported the Roseville St. Vincent de Paul Society, and over 400 succulents were shared as a small thank-you.
Why It Matters: Food insecurity affects families in our community, and this drive shifted generosity into support for local neighbors while reinforcing the need to care and look out for each other.
Paving and Detours: Traffic Guides to I Street's Road Closures
The Gist: I Street will be closed between 1st Street and 6th Street from January 12 to 30 for paving work. Crews will be working daily from 7am to 7pm, with closures happening in sections, first 1st to 4th, then 4th to 6th. Traffic control will remain onsite, and detours will be posted accordingly.
Why It Matters: Plan ahead for parking, errands, and extra driving time so you are not caught off guard. I Street reopens each evening, but expect temporary restrictions again during final paving.
