Sacramento State revealed seven new murals outside the Tschannen Engineering Building, created by student, faculty, and staff artists with support from Blue Line Arts. The walkway, now called “Belonging Boulevard,” celebrates diversity, identity, and community through vibrant artwork.

The Gist:
Placer County just opened a new sheriff's station at 5750 West Oaks Boulevard in Rocklin, with limited patrols starting September 20. The facility will house the county's first forensic crime lab and offer walk-in services for records and crime reporting. A second building next door will become a county service center by mid-2026, providing assessor and tax collector services.
