Roseville Kiwanis See’s Candy Shop Returns
The Gist: The holiday See’s Candy fundraiser is back at the Safeway center on Pleasant Grove and Roseville Parkway. Doors open Saturday, November 22, and the shop will run daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m through Christmas Eve or until everything sells out. Popular picks include Nut Chews, Assorted Chocolates, Soft Centers, and Dark Chocolates.
Why It Matters: Every purchase supports local youth programs and care packages for service members overseas.
Revised Plans Filed for 183-Acre Phillip Road Project
The Gist: Panattoni Development has submitted new plans for the Phillip Road Site Project after withdrawing last year's industrial park proposal. The update cuts truck traffic by at least 75 percent and shifts toward research, advanced manufacturing and bio or life science uses. It also adds a 1,000 foot buffer from Winding Creek plus 30 acres of parks and trails.
Why It Matters: The site has been a flashpoint for neighbors who want less truck activity and more community friendly planning.
